Wil Blades (Hammond B3 organ) and Scott Amendola (drums) conjure sonic deities with their live shows, which have recently generated considerable buzz around the Bay Area. Amendola and Blades cover everything from avant-garde to funk, bebop to rock, with some Ellington thrown in alongside their own original material.

QUIJEREMÁ: The Sounds of Latin-America

Quijeremá infuses their original contemporary Latin American compositions with a unique sense of ancient musical traditions. IRINA MIKHAILOVA: Fearless Album Celebration!

Irina Mikhailova's latest album, Fearless, takes you from deep Macedonian laments to Celtic fairy forest ballads, from Moroccan Marrakesh market chants to sweet Jewish wedding serenades and Hungarian gypsy love songs. Throughout, Irina blends her warm, otherworldly vocals with a stellar cast of musicians from around the globe, including drummer virtuoso Glen Velez, Persian multi-instrumentalist Mohammad Nejad, German cellist Hans Christian, and oud-, kabuz- and mandocello-extraordinaire Gary Haggerty.
